Company Profile: IRG provides investigation services to companies in southern Ontario. Its customers include insurance companies,
corporations and other entities that use the services of IRG for surveillance, background checks and other investigative services.
NewPoint’s Role: NewPoint was retained as financial advisor by a team of successful Toronto-based businessmen with the intent of purchasing IRG and another company simultaneously - see Koprash Building Services Inc. transaction profile. NewPoint was responsible for negotiating price and payment terms, as well as developing the appropriate capital structure and raising the necessary financing to fund the acquisition.
Transaction Snapshot: IRG was acquired with the intention of combining it with Koprash to enable the realization of significant synergies.
