a private equity fund. The company manages nearly sixty stores in Quebec and Ontario operating under the Centre du Rasoir and Personal Edge banners.
NewPoint’s Role: NewPoint was retained by Penfund to sell the company.
Transaction Snapshot: NewPoint was successful in running a sale process that included a bid by Management.
The challenge was to ensure that Management did not put itself in a conflict position. Management was ultimately the buyer of the business.
