Ken Moore — Managing Partner
Ken has many years of experience in mid-market mergers and acquisitions,
and has advised on transactions in the energy, food, technology, transportation,
construction, financial, tool and die and automotive manufacturing sectors.
Prior to NewPoint, Ken was a senior partner at another Toronto mid-market firm; he built and led
that firm's investment banking advisory activities. Prior to investment banking,
Ken was a Vice-President at Barclays Bank where he was responsible for a number
of leveraged acquisitions and restructurings.
Ken is a director of a number of private companies and is Chairman of Algonquin
Power & Utilities Corp, a prominent TSX listed Canadian power company.
Ken holds both a Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Director designations.
