Peter Brown — Partner
An investment banker for almost 15 years, prior to NewPoint Peter was with Gordon Capital. Before that he was with two other investment banks
advising on mergers and acquisitions and restructurings for mid-sized companies.
Peter’s experience includes numerous successful management-led buyouts in a variety of industries, including: packaging;
food; building products; and commercial services. His experience also includes financings, divestitures and restructurings
in the sporting goods, transportation, contract manufacturing and a variety of other industries.
Peter is an active member of a number of professional organizations. He is a director of a number of private companies
and an advisor to many family-owned businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University.
Peter is married, has two daughters, and is an avid golfer and skier.
