Scott Calderwood — Partner
Scott has worked in many different sectors during his career in investment banking and insolvency.
Before coming to NewPoint, he was a principal at a Toronto-based investment banking firm and, earlier,
a Senior Manager within the Coopers & Lybrand insolvency and due diligence practices. He had also held
various positions in a family-owned business.
Scott participates on the boards and advisory committees of several privately held companies.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree from Queen’s University, a Bachelor of Commerce degree
from the University of Toronto, and is a Chartered Accountant.
Scott is married with two children. He is a skier, snowboarder, sailor and a really bad golfer.
